Organizer Terms

Last updated: February 2026

These Organizer Terms apply to you when you create or manage tournaments, scrims, or any events on SquadsSpace. By using organizer features, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Who Is an Organizer

An "Organizer" is any user who creates, manages, or administers tournaments, scrims, or competitive events on SquadsSpace. This includes club owners, tournament admins, and anyone granted organizer privileges by an existing organizer.

2. Fair Play and Honest Conduct

As an organizer, you agree to:

  • Enter scores accurately. Do not manipulate results, leaderboards, or standings for any reason.
  • Run tournaments fairly. Do not rig group draws, placement, or advancement in favor of specific teams or players.
  • Honor your tournament rules. Whatever rules you set for your event — format, point table, registration mode — follow them consistently for all participants.
  • Not create fake or misleading tournaments. Every tournament you publish should be a real event you intend to run.

3. Prize Pool and Claims

  • Do not advertise prize pools you cannot or will not deliver. If you promise prizes, you are solely responsible for fulfilling them.
  • SquadsSpace does not handle, guarantee, or mediate prize distribution. Any prize-related disputes are between the organizer and participants.
  • Be transparent. If your tournament has no prize pool, don't imply otherwise.

4. Player Data and Privacy

When players register for your tournaments, you may have access to their team names, player names, UIDs, IGNs, and other registration information. You agree to:

  • Use player data only for running your tournament. Do not sell, share, or distribute player information to third parties.
  • Not contact players for purposes unrelated to your tournament unless they have given you separate consent.
  • Not publicly expose private player information beyond what is normally visible on leaderboards and results pages.
  • Respect player privacy. If a player asks you to remove their data after a tournament, accommodate the request where possible.

5. Content Standards

Tournament names, descriptions, banners, and any content you publish through SquadsSpace must not:

  • Contain hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language targeting any individual or group
  • Include sexually explicit or NSFW content
  • Promote violence, harassment, or threats against any person
  • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property of others
  • Impersonate other organizers, teams, or brands
  • Contain spam, phishing links, or malicious content

SquadsSpace reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.

6. Platform Use

  • Do not use SquadsSpace features for commercial purposes beyond running tournaments — for example, do not resell access to the platform, charge players for features SquadsSpace provides, or use the platform to collect player data for marketing purposes.
  • Do not misrepresent your affiliation with SquadsSpace. You may say you use SquadsSpace to run your tournaments, but do not claim to be employed by, partnered with, or officially endorsed by SquadsSpace unless we have given written confirmation.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the platform — including but not limited to creating mass fake accounts, spamming tournament creation, or exploiting bugs.
  • Report bugs responsibly. If you discover a bug or vulnerability, report it to us through Discord instead of exploiting it.

7. Stream Overlays and Branding

When using SquadsSpace stream overlays in your broadcasts:

  • You are free to use overlays in any tournament broadcast without additional permission.
  • Do not modify overlay content to display false or manipulated data.
  • You may use SquadsSpace branding (logo, name) in your streams and promotional material when referring to the platform. Do not alter our branding in misleading ways.

8. Your Responsibility

As an organizer, you are responsible for:

  • Your tournament and everything that happens in it. SquadsSpace provides the tools — you run the event.
  • Communication with your players. We don't mediate disputes between organizers and players.
  • Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including any regulations around competitive gaming, prizes, or data collection.
  • The actions of any co-admins or staff you grant access to your tournaments.

SquadsSpace is a platform. We provide tournament management tools. We are not the organizer of your events and bear no responsibility for how you run them.

9. Suspension and Removal

SquadsSpace may suspend or permanently revoke your organizer privileges if:

  • You violate these Organizer Terms or our general Terms of Service
  • You receive repeated complaints from players about unfair conduct, score manipulation, or misleading tournaments
  • You misuse player data
  • You engage in any activity that harms the platform, its users, or its reputation

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of serious violations.

If your organizer access is revoked:

  • Your existing tournaments may be archived or transferred
  • Your club page may be removed or suspended
  • You may not create a new account to circumvent the suspension

10. Founding Club Members

Founding Club members are subject to these same Organizer Terms. The Founding Club badge and benefits do not exempt you from any of these rules. Serious violations may result in loss of Founding Club status.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify organizers through the platform or Discord. Continued use of organizer features after changes constitutes acceptance.
