Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SquadsSpace platform operated by Squads Space ("we," "our," or "us") at squads-space.com. By using SquadsSpace, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SquadsSpace, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use SquadsSpace
  • If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • One person or organization may not maintain multiple accounts for the same purpose

4. Platform Usage

What You Can Do

  • Create and manage tournament clubs and organizations
  • Set up and run tournaments and scrims in any supported format
  • Manage team registrations and match results
  • Generate leaderboards, score sheets, roadmaps, and stream overlays
  • Invite teams to tournaments and manage group assignments

What You Cannot Do

  • Use the platform for any illegal activity
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Manipulate match results, scores, or leaderboards fraudulently
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform without permission
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise platform security
  • Use the platform to promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Resell or commercially redistribute platform features without permission

5. Tournament Organizer Responsibilities

As a tournament organizer, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your tournaments comply with the game publisher's terms of service (e.g., Garena Free Fire)
  • Accurately entering match results and scores
  • Managing your participants fairly and transparently
  • Handling prize pool distribution if applicable (SquadsSpace does not handle prize payments)
  • Ensuring your tournament rules are clearly communicated to participants

6. Player/Participant Responsibilities

As a tournament participant, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information including game UID/IGN when required
  • Following the tournament rules set by the organizer
  • Not using cheats, hacks, or exploits in tournament matches
  • Respecting other participants and organizers

7. Intellectual Property

  • Our content: The SquadsSpace platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Squads Space. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or its components.
  • Your content: You retain ownership of content you create on the platform. By using SquadsSpace, you grant us a license to display and process this content.
  • Generated content: Score sheets, leaderboards, roadmaps, and overlays may be freely shared and used by you for your tournaments.

8. Founding Club Program

Founding Club benefits are subject to continued active use. The Verified Founding Club badge is permanent and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify benefits with reasonable notice.

9. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep SquadsSpace available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change significantly during our early access phase.

10. Limitation of Liability

SquadsSpace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for tournament disputes, prize pool distribution, or related issues between organizers and participants.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

13. International Users

SquadsSpace is operated from India. If you access the platform from outside India, you agree that Indian law governs these Terms and that your data will be processed in India.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Squads Space harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform or via Discord.
